Facebook Syndication

This lesson is going to focus on how you could go about getting your content automatically syndicated out to Facebook.

There's no point in wasting time doing stuff like this manually and there's absolutely no harm in setting this sort of thing up.

If you look at how all of the top online networkers market themselves, they've all go stuff like this going on...

LinkedIn & Twitter Syndication

In order to get some traffic to our website we're going to have to build up both content and backlinks (to "attract" people to us).

If there's anything that you can do to make this process easier on you, then do it.

Unlike most things in this world, time is something that you can't get more of.

If you're anything like me, then the idea of selling your time is probably the worst thing you can think of.

By implimenting this next step into our blog, it then becomes alive.

You hit the "publish" button and it does all the rest, now you can concentrate on spending your time on other stuff, like building backlinks to your posts.

Facebook “Like” Box

This is another very good OFFICIAL Facebook plugin (or widget). What we're looking to create is a place where we can easily share our Facebook Fanpage with the people who visit our site.

The benefit of people "liking" your fanpage is; once they like your page, ALL of your updates will be "put in front" of them in their news feed.

When we come to automatically syndicatig your content out to your fanpage, you'll see that everyone who is either your friend on Facebook, or they like your fanpage will AUTOMATICALLY be shown your latest post in their news feed (home).

Automatic relationship / trust development or what?

Twitter Widget

Aside from making your site look a lot more professional (or the business as I like to say), this little widget is going to allow you to share your latest Tweets with the visitors of your site.

The whole principle of what we're trying to achieve is to create connections with people and we do this by utilising a lot of FREE channels (such as Twitter) on the internet.

You've heard that the money is in the list and I think that that statement is rubbish! The money isn't in the list, it's i the relationship that you have with the list.

Digg Digg

Now that we've integrated Facebook comments into our blog it's time to move onto Twitter.

The plugin we're going to use to fulfil this function for us is called Digg Digg and it is the same plugin that Mashable.com uses on their site.

Having another channel for your visitors to share your website, on a different social media site is only going to benefit you even more.

Once you have done Digg Digg that's it for all of the MAJOR social media integration (apart from the auto syndication lesson coming up later on in the course).

Widgets

Widgets literally as easy as dragging and dropping. It's important to have a few VITAL things in our sidebar for our guests to be able to navigate our site and find our content.

It's important to have at least a small understanding of them. There's not really much to say about them, I'll stop rambling, you watch the video :)

Contact Form

The whole point of Attraction Marketing is to get people emailing you, rather than you emailing them.

This video will show you how to install a contact form on to your site which will give your visitors a channel with which they can use to email you (even though they don't need to know your email address).

You'll be able to set up an auto response email for your guests letting them know that you have received their email.

Facebook Comments

If you want your blog to grow virally, stretching far out into your social graph and bringing people of similar interests towards you, then you need to make sure that you watch and follow this video.

It's a proven fact that a friends recommendation is way more powerful than any other form of marketing, so let your friends talk about your stuff to their friends and so on.

This video is all about installing ONE function into your blog that will allow you, or rather your friends, to do just that.
